The official Japanese Twitter for the My Hero Academia anime franchise has announced that the music video for "Hero too," an insert song featured in the TV anime's 86th episode "Let It Flow! School Festival!" aired on March 21, has been viewed more than 10 million times on Toho Animation's official YouTube channel in 25 days. In the show, the rock tune was performed by the Class 1-A members on the stage of the U.A. School Festival as the climax of the TV anime fourth season.
In reality, the song's music was composed by the anime's soundtrack composer Yuuki Hayashi, while its all-English lyrics was provided by the three-member Japanese rock band Dizzy Sunfist's vocalist/guitarist Ayapeta. And the three-member American pop rock band Against The Current's vocalist Chrissy Costanza performed as the lead singer. It is included in the TV anime's fourth soundtrack album released in Japan on March 25, 2020.
