Good News from the Old World

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered some Hinchliffe AWI from new owner, S&A Scenics. I had good service from Ian Hinds, despite being cut off from his supplier by 👨‍🔬🦠🧪🇨🇳 much of the time. Although Ian’s supplier did seem to be rather indifferent to quality (bent muskets, lots of flash), I’m not going to complain that loudly as Ian sent loads free of charge and they cleaned up nicely over a few evenings.

A bit of a wait, but it was worth it. Much improved casting with no bent muskets and nothing my flashing blade won’t fix in a jiffy. Wait up: there’s a cue!

So the changeover to S&A scenics looks like a successful one, and service will speed up as they get to grips with the new business. With the excellent Lancashire Games running the earlier periods it looks like these old timers will be gracing tables for many years to come.
