6mm samples from painters

Usually I paint my stuff alone. Lately, my work & family life has taken quite some time off from my hobby time. The only way to still game is to have the painting done by others.

So I have been looking for (6mm) painters. Here are a some samples I have commissioned:

This is from Paul in the UK. Nice tanks.

These are from David in the US. Again nice work. David has put a bit more details into the tanks (and that is what I would expect from a paid work...)

David's work is very nice. As a picture closeup, or when you hold the model close it is a very fine work, however, once put on the table, the model tends to "sink" into the table.

I think he would improve a lot more the final result if he was applying another layer with extreme highlight.

Extreme highlights are your friend at this scale. Also I have requested Paul to skew the tanks on the base, and give the turrets some orientation so that the tank don't look like they are parading.
